The programme this year takes place all around the town to promote the whole of the town. Artists performing include the usual mixture of traditional music and dances but also Rock, Jazz and Latin amongst other styles. On Sunday 13th July at the Sefereris Square there will be Cyprus Traditional Dances with the Cultural Group "Vasilidjia".
Six days later, the first of 3 "Full Moon Nights" at the Ayia Napa Harbour takes place. The "Echo" Musical Ensemble will present "A Stroll to the Moon". As suggested, there will be a full moon on the evening of the event to add to the intrigue of the event. The next night sees a commemoration to the events of the day of 20th July 1974 and the invasion of the island. "Cyprus, a Drop in the Globe" is performed by the Achna Folkloric Group at the Central Square.
A week later on the 27th, at the same place, sees an International Folk Dance Festival take place with the Pissouri Folkloric Group as well as other International Groups which brings July's events to a close. All events start at 9pm (21.00hrs) and entrance is free. August events follow on the next page.
