Gabriella's Final Position at the Olympics.
Gabriella Hadjidamianou finished her 10 races in a respectable 21st place with the weather conditions not really being in her favour.
All sorts of weather conditions prevailed from their being no wind at all to moderate wind and even thunderstorms causing all sorts of chaos to the proceedings with either delays or cancellations. She managed a couple of top 20 finishes during her races including a 15th (after disqualification of a higher athlete) & a 16th position. For all her results during the Olympics you can follow the link to the official results section of the Olympic Games website Gabriella-Results and choose RS:X Women in the "select by event" option to get only those race results.
Gabriella as well as all the other athletes will now start to focus on recovery from their efforts and then move to start preparations for the 2012 London Olympics through many other competitions including World Championships eventually leading to a qualification attempt during the next Olympic year.
