We were welcomed by a Restaurant Manager who greeted us warmly and then took us to our table.
We were left for a few minutes to review the menu and discuss our evening, and then asked for our order and drinks. The first drink arrived very promptly in a timely manner; they were then poured by the waitress. The temperature of the Imported Chinese Beer was perfect.
The menu had a broad range of Chinese dishes, drinks, wines, champagne and desserts. We both had 2 courses - We shared a Zao Shen Combination starter, Steve had a chicken curry with fried rice whilst Andreas had Kung Bao King Prawns. The combination starter was a great portion of Won Ton, Spring Rolls, Ribs, Sesame Prawns and tempura vegetable with a sweet chilli dip, every piece was excellent.
The main courses were deceiving in size and very tasty and filling. The rice was cooked to perfection.
Unfortunately there was no music in the restaurant as this would have complimented the excellent decor that the restaurant has, with good lighting, very spacious areas around the minimalistic well sized tables and comfortable chairs. When looking at the restaurant from the outside it gives you a welcoming appeal.
Fans are positioned throughout the restaurant providing a cool temperature at the correct level.
Steve commented that this Chinese Restaurant was definitely the best and most authentic in Ayia Napa and surrounding areas.
