With the New Year now in and most people have got back to normal routines after the Holidays Ayia Napa doesn't go back to sleep.

The Cultural Winter Programme continues every Thursday (with a few extra dates for special dates) until the summer season officialy begins. The first event for 2009 is with the "Rhythmos" dancing group and ends with performances by the Cavo Greko & Ayia Napa Municpal groups. Events will take place within the Town Hall.

The full programe is as folows:

Thursday, January 08: Journey Around The World with the "Rythmos" Dancing Group.

Thursday, January 15: Dance, Dance with the "Echochromata" Musical Group and the Ayia Napa Municipal Dancing Group

Thursday, January 22: Artistic Greek Music with the "Alterna" Musical Ensemble.

Thursday, January 29: Special Evening with the music of Mikis Theodorakis and Grigoris Mpithikotsis with the Admitos Pitsillides Music Ensemble.

Thursday, Febuary 05: Traditional Cypriot Dances & Songs with the "Kimon" Xylotymbou Dancing Group.

Thursday, Febuary 12: Classical Music with the Cyprus State Orchestra.

Thursday, Febuary 19: Greek Island Music Sergiani with the "Arradippos" Cultural Association.

Thursday, Febuary 26: Classical Music - The Violin and the Piano with the Andreas P. Nicolaou Musical Group.

Thursday, March 05: Medieval Music with the Orchestra of Ancient Greek Musical Instruments.

Thursday, March 12: Greek Music with the "Colours Popular Orchestra" Christos Fillipou Music Ensemble.

Thursday, March 19: Traditional Greek Dances with the "Dassous Achnas" Musical Ensemble.

Wednesday, March 25: Cyprus - Greek Islands - Asia Minor with the Maria Zintili Musical Group.

Thursday, March 26: Greek Popular Dances along with Latina Belly Dances with the "Rymvos" Dancing Group.

Thursday, April 1: Cavo Greko Musical Group & Ayia Napa Municpal Dancing Group.

All events start 8pm (20.00hrs) and entrance is Free of Charge.
