Ayia Napas' roads continue to be altered with the aim of improving road safety and the improvement of various roads.  

Nissi Avenue has now got four new speed bumps, the first between the Municipal Parking and the Bus Stop opposite right where the junction is turning up to the Town Hall and the last just before the new traffic lights which lead to either Nissi Beach or to the road towards the Petrol Station. A very wise move considering the number of careless accidents that have taken place over the previous summer season accross the whole of Nissi Avenue. 

Road improvemnet of Archiepiskopou Makariou III Avenue continues from where the Traffic Lights are, on either side and people should be taking extra care as these works continue to take place including reconstruction of the pavement along the avenue making it difficult for tourists not to avoid walking at the side of the road.

Please whilst driving around Ayia Napa keep these in mind, follow the road signs by not ignoring them and possibly causing accidents by driving too fast.
