The Ayia Napa Municipality programme for the summer ranges from Children's festival to Medieval festival to Jazz nights and of course ending as always with the annual Ayia Napa festival on the last weekend of September.

The full programme for May to July is as follows:

Sunday, May 31: Ayia Napa Central Square:

17.00 (5pm) - 21.00 (9pm): 15th Ayia Napa Children Festival

Saturday, June 6 - Monday, June 8: Ayia Napa Harbour

19.00 (7pm) - 00.00 (12am): 2009 Flood Festival

Sunday, June 14: "Thalassa" Municipal Museum

21.00 (9pm): Flamenco - Latin event with the "Ryhtmos" Dancing group.

Saturday, June 20 - Saturday June 27: Ayia Napa Medieval Monastery

21.00 (9pm): 4th Ayia Napa Medieval Festival

Sunday, June 28: "Thalassa" Municipal Museum

21.00 (9pm): Latin - Jazz event with the "Siakallis" Dancing Group.

Sunday, July 5: Ayia Napa "Seferis" Square

21.00 (9pm): Cyprus Traditional Dances with the Cultural Group "Vasilidjia".

Sunday, July 12th: Ayia Napa Central Square

21.00 (9pm): Folk Dances International Festival with the Ormidias Cultural Association "To Rodi".

Friday, July 17th: Ayia Napa Central Square

21.00 (9pm): Cyprus Traditional event with the Association of Cypriot Farmers.

Sunday, July 19th: Ayia Napa Central Square

21.00 (9pm): "Cyprus a drop in the globe" with the Achna Folkloric Group.  

An annual event coinciding with the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, July 20, 1974.

Sunday, July 26th: Ayia Napa Central Square

21.00 (9pm): Folk Dances International Festival with the Pissouri Folkloric Group as well as other International Groups.
