World No 4 DJ's Above & Beyond appeared at Babylon Supercluh and did not disappoint with a 3 hour trance set to around 1,500 people.

On entering the club just before 2am the club was already full and warmed up for the night. You could feel the excitement and anticipation which was in the air and it wasn't before long that the clubbers exploded into cheers of delight upon the DJ's taking over the decks at 2am. In turn, they appreciated the crowd and showed it back too to the clubbers which got them turned up even more.

As they took to the decks, the front of the club became engulfed (covered) in a cloud of club smoke and with the combination of green lasers and coloured flashing lights which took over the atmosphere for a while and electrified it even more. The sound was flowing, the clubbers were dancing and the DJ's span those tunes out and so the night went on. The clubbers were now even more as the late comers arrived from the square and into the club adding to an already massive atmosphere.

The 1st hour of the set was bass fuelled music at something like 200 bpm (beats per minute) with clubbers dancing to the frantic pace, the next hour the paced changed but not the atmosphere. The music became smoother but still kept the clubbers flowing and allowed the bodies to dance and yet at the same time allowed those to get a drink to quench their thirst and take a rest from the dancefloor after the first hour had passed. The lasers also changed settings to reflect the style playing and now like the music, reflected like beams across a sun-lit sky over the next hour. The club smoke and the laser beams set up a trance dazed club & dancefloor.

That's where unfortunately I left after 2 full trance fuelled hours of music but with possibly another 900 plus clubbers still enjoying the set by the DJ Trio called Above & Beyond.
