Makronissos Beach
Well before Nissi Beach became famous, well before Ayia Napa became a tourist area, well before the need for sunbeds, a beach called Makronissos existed & still exists today and will exist for years to come.
Towards the end of Ayia Napa, away from the madness of Nissi Beach, this Blue Flag beach (http://www.blueflag.org) provides a good place to escape for a few hours or to go for a good long swim.
It also provides an excellent place to do some windsurfing if the weathers right. The clean golden white sands, the crystal blue clear Mediterranean sea amid the shade of the Umbrellas provide a getaway from the routine and a place to escape the hustle of the centre, the madness of Nissi beach & a place to relax & chill or enjoy a dip in the sea to cool off.
It maybe one of the last beaches of Ayia Napa but that doesn't make it worse that the others. An escape for relaxation.
