What was expected to be a fantastic night proved to be so within the walls of the Castle Club, Ayia Napa.
Getting there early for the warm up set from local upcoming talent DJ Mario Chris (who's recently warmed up for some of the biggest DJ's on the planet), the atmosphere grew as the time passed on with the room filling up on both levels of the Dance room. (For those who don't know, Castle Club has 3 rooms, a chill out area & a V.I.P. area). The higher level acts as a balcony & was at eye-level with the décor
At around 2.10 World No.6 DJ Ferry Corsten, brought by the Ministry of Sound, took over the decks to whip the crowd up into an even bigger frenzy. The smoke & the laser lights again kept the atmosphere up high & with the clubbers being on two levels adding to an already wound up atmosphere. Furthermore, two plasma TV's on either side of the DJ box were set up with Ferry's own visual effects playing alongside the music with Trance related scenes of tranquillity. As the night went on the clubbers stayed on, Ferry also touched base with the clubbers showing his human side by touching hands & acknowledging the crowds joy. Both clubbers & DJ were now 1 in the music.
With a mixture of new tracks mixed in with some classic tracks including some of his own, the night went on with the crowd enjoying themselves and the music of course. 3.30 came, the room was still packed, and some of the tracks became harder but not continuous or monotonous. 4.30 came & the place was still 3/4 full where Ferry ended his set with his own project System F & the track which launched him Out Of The Blue & with his visual effects saying Thank You Aya Napa (yes, spelt wrong!!).
The crowd shouted back 1 more which they got as Mario Chris took over the decks again to see the clubbers out as Ferry thanked everyone around him (in the DJ box) after his set before going upstairs & into Castle Clubs V.I.P. Lounge for drinks.
For all those who were there, I doubt anyone left disappointed.
