It's Christmas time - almost. As with every year Ayia Napa will be holding various events leading up to Christmas & the New Year 2010.

The first of these will be on the 5th December at 5pm when you are invited to come and watch the turning on of the Christmas Lights by the Mayor of Ayia Napa himself, Mr. Antonis Tsokkos along with the Agia Napa Municipal Council. Music with the Cyprus Police Philharmonic band whilst the Agia Napa Municipal Choir and the Musical Group "Christmas Bells" with Christmas Carols, Songs and Dances will also be at the event.

Also, the Cyprus Traditional Farm House "Agrospito" will also be providing Christmas delicacies and free wine and finaly Santa's train will also be present for the younger visitors.

All this on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 5pm.

The next events will be the following Sunday, December 13, 2009,  Saturday, December 26, 2009 and Thursday, December 31, 2009 bringing in the New Year. All the details coming in another article.
