Ayia Napa has awaken from it's winter period to become a lot more active than the last few months.

With Easter being earlier this year than previous years and also being on the same date for all has left a false impression on some people. Not for the owners of the establishments in Ayia Napa though. They have been preparing before Easter to be open for tourists and locals alike. Quite a few places have opened up for Easter and more are opening all the time.

Those opening up are not placed in any one area. Some are around the square. Some are off the square and others are towards the beach. Hotels, Restaurants and Bars are opening and of course you've got your Watersport facilities on the beaches too for example Makronissos beach apart from your sunbeds and Umbrellas are also there for any Watersport needs too. If the wind is strong enough you can catch the wind and kite surfers enjoying the conditions. On other days, you can catch water skiers out on the open waters.

During the nightime, numerous restaurants are open and a choice of bars to follow after your meal are around too. Of course let's not forget that there are others who are looking for some late night clubbing. Well, we got one of Agia Napa's longest running discos (wow you may say, we have discos too) which is open for your 70's, 80's and party tunes. Obviously at this time of year there will be a tendency to a different age group with regards to what tracks are played. As for modern hits, the R'n'B disco off the Square (by name, club by rights) is open with the World's top 90th club almost ready to follow suit too.

Another month or at the most two and Ayia Napa will be fully open for 2010 and a complete new look and feel to it too. The Agia Napa Municipality has also been busy upgrading a major road from the Harbour and past the Monastery to the top of the hill to make it safer for all. Welcome to Ayia Napa 2010.
