Christmas in Ayia Napa 2010 (Part 1 & 2)

It's the time of year when the count down begins to Christmas (those who celebrate) and the New Year.

This means that Ayia Napa enters Christmas mode when they turn on the Christmas lights on Saturday December 4, followed on Sunday December 12 2010 a Christmas Afternoon.

The full program is as follows:

Saturday, December 4

The Agia Napa - Protaras - Famagusta Tourist Board, the Mayor, Antonis Tsokkos, and the Municipal Council of Agia Napa will perform the Festive Lighting of the Agia Napa Christmas Decorations

5.00pm (17.00hrs): Agia Napa Children Choir

5.15pm (17.15hrs): Cyprus Police Philharmonic Band, PAPADAKEIO Choir

5.30pm (17.30hrs): Festive Lighting of the Christmas Decorations

5.40pm (17.40hrs): Music - Dancing Show by "It's a Christmas Time" Team made up of RYTHMOS Dancing Group, CARPE DIEM Voice Ensemble and the ETERNITY Band.


Sunday December 12 2010

Come and taste the Traditional food & drinks, homemade sweets, coffee, Traditional Wine & Zivania and listen to Christmas Melodies.

2.30pm (14.30): Dancing Performance by the Agia Napa Municipal Dancing Group

3.00pm (15.00): Choir Songs with the Agia Napa Municipal Children Choir

3.15pm (15.15): Songs with Students of  the Nikis Antoniou Musical School

3.30pm (15.30): Dancing Performance with the Dancing School "Danza Libre"

4.00pm (16.00): Dancing Performance with the Dancing School "Passion Dance"

4.30pm (16.30): Dancing Performance with the Dancing School "Rythmos"

5.00pm (17.00): Greek Music with the Musical Group "Eastern Sound"

All events take place in the Ayia Napa Central Square.
