It's the time of year again where for those Celebrating Christmas followed by the New Year count down the days.

This year is no different than the other as Ayia Napa too enters Christmas mode when they turn on the Christmas lights on Saturday December 3, followed on Sunday December 11 2010 a Christmas Afternoon.

The full program is as follows:

Saturday, December 4 2011

The Mayor, Antonis Tsokkos, and the Municipal Council of Agia Napa will perform the Festive Lighting of the Agia Napa Christmas Decorations

5.00pm (17.00hrs): Agia Napa Children Choir

5.15pm (17.15hrs): Cyprus Police Philharmonic Band

5.20pm (17.20hrs): Festive Lighting of the Christmas Decorations

5.30pm (17.30hrs): Music - Dancing Show by "It's a Christmas Time"

Also, at the "Agrospito" (The Cyprus Traditional Farm House) you will be able to taste Christmas delicacies and have some free wine. Also, Father Christmas arrives on a carriage with a White Horse.


Sunday December 11 2011

Come and taste the Traditional food & drinks, homemade sweets, coffee, Traditional Wine & Zivania and listen to Christmas Melodies.

2.30pm (14.30): Dancing Performance by the Agia Napa Municipal Dancing Group

3.00pm (15.00): Choir Songs with the Agia Napa Municipal Children Choir

3.15pm (15.15): Songs with Students of  the Nikis Antoniou Musical School

3.30pm (15.30): Dancing Performance with the Dancing School "Performer's Academy Of Dance"

4.00pm (16.00): Dancing Performance with the Dancing School "Danza Libre"

4.30pm (16.30): Dancing Performance with the Dancing School "Rythmos"

5.00pm (17.00): Greek Music with the Musical Group "Eastern Sound"

  • Father Christmas arrives on a carriage with a White Horse.

  • Luna Park
  • Pop Corn
  • Cotton Candy
  • Chestnuts
  • Japanese Cuisine
