The Ayia Napa municipality continues its yearly festival on the last weekend of September, which also is included within the Summer Cultural events and thus bringing its events to an end.
The festival is spread out over 3 days and covers the Ayia Napa square and the area in and around the Monastery. The festival is split up into various parts.
The first part covering the area below the Monastery will be covered by various stands covering a wide range of Local and National aspects of agricultural products.
Within the Monastery, there will be various exhibitions and local paintings but each in a different view then the usual chain of thought. One of the exhibitions will cover the history of Ayia Napa through out the years. Each exhibition will have its own identity.
Finally, as well as the various stands and displays there will also be live events on each of the three evenings from 7.30pm (19.30hrs).
On Friday, the Greek acoustic singer Dimitra Galani will be performing and on Saturday another Greek acoustic singer, Pantelis Thalasinos as well as the Portuguese singer Christine Branco will be performing together.
On Sunday, the Chinese group "The East Sun" will be performing what should be an interesting event for the festival to end with.
On each of the three days there will also be a half hour Shadow Puppet show for the kids at 7.30pm (19.30hrs)
